Tomato Man's Tips
Each week, we present a column on gardening called "Tomato Man's Tips." As stated, it'll share some of my secrets, accomplishments, or like this week, just a few random remarks.

Tomato Man's Tips
Hi there, all you great garden folks. Well, as Bobby promised, we are going to release a little more info. Since Bobby has done most of the work on this site its my turn to put my two cents worth in. When most people get where they have to go see a head shrink, I just go to the garden, best medicine I know of. For the last nine years now I have chased that world record tomato, and I might add chase is all I have done, and since the record tomato is at 7lbs12ozs and the biggest I have had is 5lb7ozs I have a long up hill battle ahead. My wife and I have grown some of the biggest and best vegetables in these parts for several years now: a 5 lb head of iceberg lettuce, 35lb head of cabbage, 16lb radish, 5lb tomatoes, and many more. First year of growing a watermelon and it went to 111 pounds, and this year I have one on the vine that is somewhere around 150lbs now and still growing. Stay tuned for upcoming pictures of these awesome melons. We will be working very hard on this site to get you best up to date info that we can: we will be bring you question and answer pages, and a news and tips column weekly. Whether you are a rookie just starting out or a well seasoned gardener, drop us a line: we would love to here from you.

Bob Hunsaker, Master Gardener.
